The Spa
The Spa consists of the reception and product area, manicure and pedicure area, 5 therapist treatment rooms, a hydrotherapy treatment room, a spray tanning treatment room, a Robe Room and a Relaxation Room.
The Leisure Club
The Leisure Club consists of a heated swimming pool, a heated 'Bubble Room', a sauna and a gym. While every effort is made to ensure the smooth running of the Leisure Club, on-going maintenance, refurbishment or unforeseen circumstances may result in some of the facilities being withdrawn at short notice. All facilities are subject to availability.
Age Restrictions
Please note all guests visiting The Spa must be aged 16 or over. Children are not allowed into The Spa.
Making your Booking
A 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings in The Spa.
Overnight Packages require a 50% deposit on booking, and the final balance is required 8 weeks before the first day of your spa break; however full payment is required if a spa break is booked within 8 weeks of arrival.
Cancellation Policy
We can only offer a full refund if a reservation is cancelled at least 48 hours in advance. If the reservation is made within the 48 hours cancellation period a client is expected to attend on the date he/she has reserved.
If a cancellation is made within the 48 hour cancellation period The Spa will use the deposit as the cancellation fee.
Please note bookings for a group of 5 guests or more are subject to a 7 day cancellation policy. For overnight spa breaks we require 8 weeks notice of cancellation.
Arrival Time
Please ensure you arrive at The Spa at least 15 minutes prior to the designated appointment time.
Arriving any later may shorten the treatment or, depending on what treatment you have booked, it may not be possible for the therapist to do it. Where possible, we will offer an alternative treatment for the time, but will charge for the original treatment.
Spa Attire
Prior to your spa treatment we recommend you change into a bath robe and slippers to allow for maximum relaxation. If the treatment cost is less than £50, robes are available for hire at a nominal charge. We advise clients to wear their underwear or swimwear under the robes. However, we can provide disposable underwear if you prefer. Please be assured all of our therapists are highly trained and your modesty will be protected at all times.
What to Bring
The Spa can provide towels for Leisure Club use. We have 15 secure lockers in The Spa’s Robe Room and also lockers in the changing rooms in the Leisure Club. A £1 coin will be required for the Leisure Club lockers and is fully refundable. Showers are available in the Leisure Club changing rooms - shower gel is provided and the changing room is equipped with a hairdryer.
Health Advice
If you have any medical conditions or had recent surgery, please notify The Spa upon booking. All treatments are booked subject to medical status. This ensures your health and well-being and that the treatment you have booked is suitable for you.
A Health Questionnaire is completed prior to your treatment. Celtic Haven will not be held responsible of the side affects of the treatments if individual medical conditions are not disclosed.
Pregnancy
In the interest of you and your baby, please make sure The Spa is made fully aware of your pregnancy, as certain treatments may not be suitable; however we do have a range of treatments which are suitable for each trimester of your pregnancy, so please ask.
Spa Etiquette
As a consideration to other clients, we ask noise levels are kept to a minimum in The Spa. Also, please make sure you switch off mobile phones when in The Spa to ensure tranquility and to allow you to relax. Please note, alcohol is strictly forbidden in The Spa and Leisure Club.
Gift Vouchers
All Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date indicated on the Gift Voucher. Gift Vouchers cannot be refunded in total or in part and we regret, cannot be replaced by The Spa if lost or stolen.
Price Information
Prices are correct at time of going to print but are subject to change without prior notice.
Spa Promotions
The Spa reserves the right to introduce spa promotions at any time. All bookings made prior to a promotion being introduced cannot be changed to that of the promotion.
Therapists
Celtic Haven therapists are trained professionals and any inappropriate behavior will end a treatment immediately.
For reasons beyond our control the requested therapist may not be available. In this instance a therapist of the same qualifications will attend to you.
Refusal of Treatments
The Spa has the right to refuse treatment to clients who are under the influence of alcohol or under the influence off illegal substances. Clients will not be allowed to use the Leisure Club facilities if they seem to be under the influence of alcohol or under the influence of illegal substances.
