Deposits - A deposit is required for all treatment bookings.
For treatments under £60.00 a £5.00 deposit is payable and treatments over £60.00,
50% of the total balance is required.
For overnight packages, a deposit of 50% of the total balance is required when
booking. Full payment is required if booking is made within 8 weeks of arrival.
Cancellation – As a courtesy to other clients 24 hours notice of cancellation is
required. If an appointment is cancelled within 24 hours prior to arrival the deposit
will be retained as a cancellation fee. Please note bookings for a group of 5 guests or
more are subject to a 5 day cancellation policy. For overnight spa breaks we require
8 weeks notice of cancellation.
Consultation – A free consultation is available for every treatment. Please allow extra
time for this. This may be booked for the day prior to your treatment.
Arrival time – Please ensure you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time.
Arriving late may potentially shorten your treatment time. Times given for
treatments are purely estimates. Your treatment time includes time for a consultation
to ensure the treatment is best suited to your individual needs.
What to bring with you – We provide robes, towels, slippers and a secure locker. We
recommend you do not bring jewellery and valuable items to The Spa with you.
Spa attire – Prior to your spa treatment we recommend you change into the robe
and slippers to allow for maximum relaxation. If the treatment cost is less than
£60.00, robes are available for hire at a nominal charge of £5.00.
Spa etiquette – As a consideration to other clients, we ask that noise levels are kept
to a minimum in The Spa.
Special health considerations – If you have any medical conditions or had recent
surgery, please notify The Spa upon booking. All treatments are booked subject to
medical status. This ensures your health and well-being and that the treatment you
have booked is suitable for you.
A health questionnaire is completed prior to your treatment. Celtic Haven will not
be held responsible for the side affects of treatments if individual medical conditions
are not disclosed.
Pregnancy – In the interest of you and your baby, please make sure we are made fully
aware of your pregnancy. Certain treatments are particularly suitable for mothers-to-be.
Other treatments may not be suitable.
Gift Vouchers - All Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date indicated. Gift
Vouchers cannot be refunded in total or in part and we regret, cannot be replaced
by The Spa if lost or stolen.
Spa promotions - The Spa reserves the right to introduce spa promotions at any time.
All bookings made prior to a promotion being introduced cannot be changed to
that of the promotion.
Age restrictions – Our treatments are only available for persons aged 16 and above.
Prices are correct at time of going to print but are subject to change without notice.
Celtic Haven therapists are trained professionals and any inappropriate behaviour
will end treatment immediately. We reserve the right to refuse treatment to guests
who are intoxicated or under the influence of illegal substances.
Clients should not use the swimming pool, sauna or hot tub if under the influence of
alcohol or illegal substances.
For reasons outside of our control the requested therapist may not be available – in
this instance a therapist of similar experience and qualifications will attend to you.
